Circus of Stars

Hi! this is my first time making a visual novel so constructive criticism is welcome! I'm an amateur game developer and did all the coding / sprites by myself so please keep that in mind when commenting.
Plot: Everyone has something they wished to forget from their childhoods. For you, you wanted to forget it ever happened. In an attempt to reach closure with deep memories, you go back to the circus your father runs, the one you left. However, during your visit, things start to make you question the secrets that hide behind the stage. Before you could get any answers, everything comes crashing down once you receive news after your visit.

The game will contain more graphic scenes in the full version but please play with caution if your sensitive to subjects such as suicide, Child Abuse, substance use, violence, blood
This is just a demo for now to set a up a story but it might be revised in the future!
What the demo offers:
- about 30 minutes of gameplay
- no CGs yet
- Gender Neutral and unnamed MC

The art style is amazing ♥
I'm a bit stuck on the mysterious box code but other than that it's pretty awesome so far!
Update:
I figured it out! You need to read each written riddle on the wall when you explore and to get the 6 number for the mysterious box code. In the mysterious box, there are 6 letters and you need 6 numbers for the letters. The written riddle will give you a hint for those letters that contain 6 numbers. Hope that helps for those that are confuse ♥
